The idea

A daily routine is mostly present-tense verbs plus time phrases.

You can say a lot with a small set of verbs: trabajar, comer, ir, hacer and descansar.

Build a simple routine

Natural shortcut

You can answer with fragments when the context is clear.

¿Qué haces esta tarde? — Gimnasio y luego cena con amigos. Short answers are normal in conversation.

Link a few present-tense verbs with time phrases.

Trabajo por la mañana, como a las dos y por la tarde voy al gimnasio. That is already a useful conversation.
