The idea

Some everyday verbs travel with a small word like me or te.

Levantarse means to get up. For “I get up”, use me levanto. Learn the small word and verb together.

Keep the small word before the changed verb.

Me levanto and te levantas are useful ready-made chunks. Not every daily action needs me: desayuno means I have breakfast.
