Qué asks “what.” Cuál often asks “which one.”

Word order

Spanish questions often look similar to statements.

The question marks and your voice help signal the question: ¿Vives en Valencia? means “Do you live in Valencia?”

¿Dónde…?, ¿cuánto…? and ¿cómo…? solve many everyday problems.
